Which is easier to trap- mice or rats?Misconception
Many people think rats and mice are almost same and catching either of them is of same difficulty. But they are mistaken here. Rat and mice are different in lots of ways which makes one of them to come in trap easily. You are wasting your time if you are not differentiating between them and trying to trap them both in a same way.
Differences:
Physically rats have longer bodies than mice hence easier to trap.
Reason:
A rat with a longer body is easy to catch than that of mice. They are easier to get trapped in a snap trap as they fit in the doors or whatever the trap is whereas mice will escape through easily and will run so fast that it will be a difficult thing to do. A rat is not swift and smart to move around so fast.
Reason:
According to the fact that rats usually roam on the grounds on their foot and are slower in their movement so they cannot escape easily whereas for mice you need is a sticky glue that can be glued at places where mice are usually found and climbing. So once they are trapped in their trap they cannot show their swiftness and smartness which they usually show in other traps. Rats and mice have different taste to some point.
Reason:
Mice are usually attracted to the grains where as a piece of meat will attract more to a rat. However, in this case a rat and mice will both be easily trapped if their favorite food is being kept as a bait.
There is no proper conclusion to come up that one of them is easily trapped because both are different and easier to trap if played smartly with according to their features and tricks and tips.
